Eddy Coil lacks thermal compensation and is therefore not optimized for Z-homing. It is primarily designed to work in conjunction with an existing Z-homing device such as an endstop or probe. It offers rapid bed scanning functionality when combined with an existing Z-homing device. We have mounts designed to allow the use of the Eddy Coil along with the CHAOTICLAB CNC Tap.
